about

An Astrolabe is a handheld ancient astronomical instrument that was used to calculate and measure the altitude of a celestial body above the horizon. It was used as a navigation instrument, as an inclinometer to determine the latitude of a ship at sea by measuring the sun's noon altitude (declination) or the meridian altitude of a star of known declination.

This project works with the idea of creating an imaginary sonic landscape that goes on when the travelers are lost on the sea at night and try to fly to escape the the imminent wreckage.

On one hand I find this very much related to the current events that are taking place worldwide, perhaps a dark or sinister interpretation, but on the other hand a pre sequel of a previous album "Instrucciones de Uso, Crusoe" where a new a way life washed up on the shore.
